From Party Rock to Plant Power: Redfoo and Jazzy Redefine Wellness at Party Rock Farmhouse

Redfoo—the wild-haired, dance-floor-dominating half of LMFAO—might be best known for his chart-topping hit Party Rock Anthem, but these days, he’s rocking something completely different: a peaceful, plant-powered lifestyle on a farm in Calabasas. Alongside his partner Jasmine “Jazzy” Alkouri, their daughter Ily, and a lively crew of rescue animals, Redfoo is trading beats for beets in his newest venture: Party Rock Farmhouse.

A far cry from the flashing lights of the club scene, this new chapter centers around wellness, compassion, and the surprisingly fun (and delicious) realities of vegan living. And through their show, Redfoo and Jazzy are proving that living a plant-based life isn’t about sacrificing joy—it’s about expanding it.

The Wake-Up Call

For Redfoo (real name Stefan Kendal Gordy), the path to plant-based living began with a health scare. At the time, he was following a Keto diet and maintaining an active lifestyle, but a routine physical turned up shocking results: his cholesterol had skyrocketed to over 600, and his blood had a pinkish hue—fat literally floating in it. “I didn’t look unhealthy, but the inside told a different story,” he recalls.

That wake-up call sparked a deep shift in priorities. He realized that feeling good wasn’t just about having energy to perform or hit the gym—it was about nourishing his body from the inside out. Veganism wasn’t a trend to him. It was a lifeline.

Love, Wellness, and a Lot of Smoothies

Jazzy, a long-time wellness enthusiast and Redfoo’s former road manager, played a big role in guiding the transition. The couple bonded over fruit smoothies and healthy food options while touring and began reading labels more carefully, ditching any ingredients they couldn’t pronounce. Their shared commitment to health grew into a deeper lifestyle transformation—one that they now enjoy with their daughter and the animals on their farm.

“For us, it’s about more than just diet,” says Jazzy. “It’s a mindset. It’s about conscious living—treating your body, the planet, and all living things with love and care.”

One Big Happy (Rescue) Family

The couple’s vegan values found their perfect setting when they relocated from the city to a more spacious property—initially sparked by a simple need for space for their Saint Bernard. “We call him the gateway dog,” Jazzy jokes.

That move opened the door to a new way of life. Today, their home is shared with a growing family of rescued animals, including pigs, cows, turkeys, and of course, a few more dogs. Living side-by-side with these creatures has only solidified their belief in compassionate living. “It changes you,” Redfoo says. “When you connect with animals every day, you don’t see them as food—you see them as family.”

Cooking with Compassion

Jazzy’s kitchen experiments are legendary among their friends. From hearty vegan lasagna to sushi wraps made from sprouted grains and veggies, the family’s meals are anything but boring. In fact, Jazzy’s creative approach to cooking is part of what inspired Party Rock Farmhouse—the couple’s way of showing that a plant-based diet isn’t restrictive, it’s imaginative.

“We make watermelon taste like salmon,” she laughs. “The beauty of vegan cooking is that it pushes you to innovate. You’re not just making food—you’re crafting medicine, joy, and culture all at once.”

Growing More Than Just Food

Redfoo and Jazzy aren’t just cooking differently—they’re growing differently, too. Through Redfoo’s free app Doctor Only Plants and their collaboration with The Sprouting Company, they’re teaching people how to grow nutrient-rich sprouts at home, even without a yard or garden.

“Sprouting is such an accessible step,” Redfoo explains. “You don’t need sunlight, you don’t need soil. Just a little counter space, and you can grow some of the most powerful nutrition on the planet.”

Their goal isn’t to preach—it’s to empower. By making small changes like growing your own herbs or swapping sugar-laden drinks for naturally sweetened ones, they believe people can take control of their health and well-being one step at a time.

Sharing the Table—and the Love

At the heart of it all is connection. Food, after all, is about community. And Redfoo and Jazzy love nothing more than inviting friends and family over for vibrant plant-based meals, complete with vegan cheese boards and innovative dishes that often surprise their guests.

“We’re not trying to convert anyone,” Redfoo says. “We just want to share what makes us feel good, and maybe spark a little curiosity in the process.”

The Big Picture

Through their show Party Rock Farmhouse, Redfoo and Jazzy are building more than a lifestyle brand—they’re building a movement. One rooted in joy, awareness, health, and love. Whether it’s through cooking, growing food, rescuing animals, or simply starting honest conversations, they hope to inspire others to explore a life that feels more aligned.

“We want to live our healthiest, happiest, most loving existence,” says Redfoo. “And if we can share that and help others along the way, that’s what really rocks.”
